Excellent news! I cleaned the fish tank this weekend.  Lately, I’ve had to throw Butterscotch outside when I change the water because she’s gotten extremely interested in the fish.

When I change the water the first thing I do is put the fish in these Tupperware containers.  That’s no small task because Hercules is huge now and he’s kind of like a piranha and isn’t cooperative.

After I put them in their containers then they’re basically out in the open and then I have to make about a billion trips to the kitchen to get the water, clean all the stuff, rinse the gravel, etc., etc., etc.

Meanwhile, the cat is skulking around and I’m pretty sure that even though the fish seem to be bigger then her (she’s tiny) she looks at them like a meal.  I think the fish would take her in a fight though.  Instead, it’s just easier to throw her outside so I don’t have to worry about it.

Anyways, the tank is all-clean and they’re swimming around and I’m pretty sure that there’s a smile on their little fish faces.  Tucker meanwhile, just peed on the floor because I couldn’t get him out from under the bed before I left to go work out so I’m about ready to kill him except I just fucking saved him from dying.

Yesterday was the super bowl and it wasn’t a very good game so that was annoying. I did enjoy the half time show although all the commercials were awful.  We actually quit before the fourth quarter to catch up on some TV viewing.

Kevin is reading a book (unusual for him) so he spent part of the weekend reading and I’m going through kind of an ADD phase so I mostly just play games

On a side note, we just bought a Vitamix! The goal was for me to become a bit healthier and start eating healthier and hopefully lose some weight.  So yesterday I made a yummy smoothie with bananas, strawberries, some protein power, almond milk and kale.  All was good for a while UNTIL … my stomach started dying.

It’s true; I can’t eat kale. I already knew that I was a delicate creature when it came to raw veggies but the proof was in the pudding (or in this case the smoothie.)  So much for getting my veggies that way.

Other than that, everyone seems to be doing ok. Did I tell you that Keely is now showrunners assistant on Sleepy Hollow? Well, she is so that’s an incredibly busy and chaotic job.  She’s already started and her job varies every single day.

Andie is still in med school and shockingly has reported that it’s hard.

Daniel is still alive, I think.  Seriously, we don’t hear much from him.

There is such a huge difference between boys and girls folks.  HUGE!!!

Beyond that we have seen some movies lately.  Inside Lleywn Davis was awful.  August: Osage County was really slow and I’ve decided that critics don’t know shit.  What’s confusing is that Rotten Tomatoes gave Inside Lleywn Davis a high rating.  I have no clue why because I wanted to die of boredom.

So that’s it around here.  What’s new with you?

My hubby has been watching American Football lately. He stayed up through the night to watch the Superbowl and like you he was expecting a much better game.

It did mean that I got some peace and quiet yesterday morning while he slept in to catch up on some sleep.

Nothing much going on with me, I am working from home and keeping an eye on Cala Fluff who has just had a operation at the Vets. So far she is doing okay though putting the plastic bag (translated to an empty IV bag) that the vet gave me to cover the dressing on her foot when she goes outside is a pain in the butt. I have contemplated using a cork but she has gone through enough really…..

<—-Green as the kale, with ENVY over your Vitamix. That bad boy has been on my wish list for a while. I'm getting closer, but I just can't make peace with the pricetag. Let me know if it's as wonderful as I imagine.

Not much new with me. Trying to get the cat to stop bugging me during the night. I understand he’s young but the kneading is annoying as well as his grooming of himself.
I agree August was kind of boring. Critics are terrible. Gravity boring as well.
I just watched The Book Thief, really enjoyed it. I like “RUSH” as well. I found American Hustle boring, loved the outfits and hair dos. Alot of my friends loved it. The Wolf of Wall Street is good but I found while watching it I could leave the room without pausing and just continue to watch it like I missed nothing. I am going to see HER. I’ll let you know what I think of that one too. Have a great day!
