This blog is not for the light-hearted or easily offended. If either one of those descriptions applies to you, i would suggest you start drinking before you read this blog. A sense of humor is suggested. If you don't have one that sucks for you … find one and get a life!

In which i consider some changes…er…additions

I have been thinking of making some changes, or should I say additions, to my blog.  Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not exactly asking you what you think because, well frankly, you have no say in the matter.  I’m simply pondering out loud…in a writing-it-down-on-paper sort of way.  First, as I pour through all the things I have saved over the years which include my writing, my Christmas letters, Keely’s LiveJournal that she kept when she was 13 and I printed out, some of Andie’s stuff and a few other odds and ends, I have come across numerous interesting and funny conversations.  My kids also like to give me a lot of shit about certain conversations that we’ve had that I no longer remember but they SWEAR did occur.  These little “snippets” aren’t really long enough for their own post and they don’t always have a point but to me, they’re funny.

Therefore, I have decided to start an every once-in-a-while type post that I will call “Overheard at the MacDonald’s.”  Of course, like everything else I do or say, you’re free to comment and let me know that you don’t think it’s funny, you do think it’s funny or you’re not interested.  That’s pretty much why that “comment section” is down there…at the bottom… have you noticed it?  However, you should know that if you don’t think I’m funny, well first, fuck you, and second, why are you reading my blog in the first place?  Just rhetorical, no answer necessary.  I always answer the comments by the way, unless you’re a total dick and leave something incredibly disgusting and offensive like some of the comments (which I did not approve for posting due to their being just plain nasty) on the circumcision post.  Speaking of that by the way, I will eventually address those comments.  I’ve kept them tucked away safely in SPAM so I can write about it one day.  What a clusterfuck that was!  But I digress…

So that’s the first thing I’m going to add.  The second thing I’m considering is a little Q & A section.  I was recently talking to someone and they said that I dispensed a lot of advice in my blog.  I hadn’t really noticed that so I went back and I realized that I was indeed VERY opinionated and certainly had an unusual approach to many things.  Of course, I write about whatever comes to mind but she suggested that it might be fun if people submitted actual questions that I could answer. I thought about it and indeed, that would be fun.  I love thinking about different things and actually spend much time pondering many, many different subjects.

I will begin by asking you people who are reading this blog (HELLO?  Are you out there?) to email me questions that you’d like me to answer.  There are no restrictions although I won’t get into anything graphically sexual or offensive.  I mean, this isn’t really that type of blog.  But I certainly have opinions on almost everything and I’m fairly well read so I would love to answer random questions.  What do you think?  If you’re interested, send me some emails at allfookedup@gmail.com

As soon as it appears that people are interested, I will pick one day a week – a month, a year, who knows – to answer the questions.  Obviously, the more interest that y’all have and the more questions you submit, the more frequently I’ll post.  Hmmm…what should I call it?  How about “That’s What She Said?”  HAHAHA.  I like that.  I think I might go with that.  If you have a better suggestion, let me know?  OK?

All righty then.  That about sums up this post.  I will eagerly await your questions…well, maybe not that eagerly.  I wouldn’t want to be disappointed if you mofos out there dissed me or anything, now would I?

See ya…Lynn MacDonald aka All Fooked Up

Great idea! I don’t have a question right now (or else you’d be getting an email too) but if I do I’ll send them along. :)

Guess I’m one of the mofo’s out there. But I’m not dissing you. Because you wouldn’t give a shit anyways. I just wanted to say, although it doesn’t matter I’m sure, that I like your blog the way it is. The Q & A thingy might be fun, depending on the Q & A’s of course, and we can’t really depend on those………you could make some up if the ones you get aren’t interesting. Yea, that’s my suggestion. Make some Q & A up. And please make it good. I come over here (again, not that it matters to you) to get some freakin entertainment. So let’s get on with it, shall we?
Seriously, I really like it all. Your approach is brutally refreshing!! Good fun!

Not that you give a shit or need my approval, but okay go ahead and do that Q&A thingy. I’ll comment if I feel like it. Heh. Just returnin’ the ‘tude, chicky. The more original and unique and entertaining you are, the more people like it, so I say go for it!
