This blog is not for the light-hearted or easily offended. If either one of those descriptions applies to you, i would suggest you start drinking before you read this blog. A sense of humor is suggested. If you don't have one that sucks for you … find one and get a life!
Guys, what’s up? Well it’s been a crazy few weeks around here what with the Vermont trip and Andie’s test (Step II … a very important medical test), Daniel’s job search, Kevin’s job and my … umm … well I can’t say that I have anything important going on.
I am in the midst of a bunch of pictures but so far I’m not really feeling artistic so nothing is looking good.
Other then that I’ve just been reading about the state of the world (awful), the state of the United States (bad) and the state of North Carolina (which, by the way, is actually a state but basically sucks right now. I’m embarrassed by the lack of good leadership in this state).
If you read the news you’d realize that we’re all doomed. However I expect to die before the planet does so there’s that.
Yesterday I read that the biggest risk is a cyber attack on our vital networks. For example did you know that if only 9 particular electric substations were attacked that the electricity would go out in over half the United States for months at a time? I think that I better get more water.
But, I’m not a believer in worrying about all the things that will go wrong so I think that instead I’ll just enjoy the cool weather and the fall. Although I must say that the trees aren’t as red as they usually are they seem more yellow and orange!
Also my kitten also known as “Cinder” (although honestly she has no clue what her name is) has decided to be an outdoor kitten so we have been learning about the area. Basically this involves me letting her in and out of the door so she can figure out just how to annoy me.
Butterscotch is still peeved that Cinder exists and I believe that every single morning she is re-shocked that she’s still there. I’m pretty sure that she’s hoping that she will wake up and it will have been a bad dream. Honestly, Butterscotch is not the brightest cat I’ve had and I’m pretty sure that Cinder is no rocket scientist either.
So here’s hoping that Andie killed the test (in a good way), that Daniel finds a job and that I stay in a good mood. After all, on a day like today what more can you ask right??
