In which my back is STILL messed up

ouch

Uggghhh guys … I’m sitting here at the computer on a Sunday morning feeling sorry for myself while Kevin is off working out. You see, even though I’ve had two massages not to mention acupuncture, I’m still having back problems.

In fact, it had gotten bad enough that I called up my Doctor pal and asked what to do about the situation. He gave me a prescription for muscle relaxers as well as a painkiller.

I took the muscle relaxers on Friday afternoon and then one in the middle of the night and I was basically useless yesterday. However, I didn’t work out as the doctor had requested.

Last night my back was killing me and I took a pain killer and that shit works rapidly!!

So this morning I didn’t work out but honestly, I think I felt better when I did. At any rate I’m going to get it checked out tomorrow because if this was a pulled muscle it should have been improving by now.

As you can imagine, I’m pissed about the entire situation because I went to the Spa to get my shit together and now I can’t even work out!! How am I supposed to continue losing weight if I can’t move or work out???

In other news, Tucker pooped on the floor twice last night and he peed as well. This dog is driving me nuts. He’s still wearing the “cone of shame” on his head because he keeps licking his paws.

Yesterday, we got him a “Thunder Coat” which is supposed to help with anxiety. He looked really cute in it but it certainly didn’t stop him from licking his paws. I don’t even know what’s what with this dog. He’s supposed to go on “anti-anxiety” meds tomorrow but I’m not sure I’ll survive him.

The good news is that apparently, my cat is NOT dying. She has Hypercalcemia, which is apparently just something to deal with. I don’t know.

We did buy a new 10-gallon fish tank because it turns out that the filter was broken and as long as I was buying a new filter then I figured I should get a new tank right? RIGHT!

So that’s life around here … basically we are all falling apart. Hopefully I’ll be back to fighting form soon but I’m sure that if you follow this blog you’ll find out because I really don’t keep secrets!!

Keep your chin up, kid! Also, if you haven’t seen it yet and if you can laugh without hurting yourself, look up “sad cat diary” on YouTube today. That is some Funny Shit. There’s a Sad Dog one too and it’s funny but the cat one had me crying my makeup off. I just thought of those because there’s a Cone of Shame part in the dog one.

There are few things worse than back pain. Take the meds!!! Hope you’re on the mend.

I feel your pain. Yoga every day is the only thing that helps my back.
