In which they need me

You would think that now that my kids are older that I wouldn’t get so many SOS calls from them but I do.  The difference is the types of calls I get.  Here are some examples of how VERY much my kids need me.  This is just an assortment from the last month:

Mom, what’s our insurance number? I’m headed to Urgent Care,

Mom, I lost my wallet? I can’t remember how to cancel my credit cards.

Mom, I have to babysit a 5-month-old.  How do I play with a baby?

Mom, I just slammed my hand in the door and it won’t stop bleeding. What should I do?

Mom, I lost my passport even though we’re going OUT OF THE COUNTRY in a month.

Mom, my toe is all swollen. Should I see the doctor again?

Mom, never mind.  My toe was just taped too tight.

Mom, never mind … I found my credit card.

Mom, never mind … the baby wasn’t all that difficult.

Mom, how do you change a diaper?

Mom, I’m going to lose my nail and it’s gross.

Mom, is it possible for the poop smell to infiltrate my clothing?

Mom, never mind.  I figured out the whole diaper thing.

Mom, my car got towed.

Mom, did you pay the bursar account?

Mom, never mind … I figured out how to pay the bursar account.

Mom, did you mail me that thing?

Mom, never mind … I have it.

And last, but not least:

Mom, I’m busy.  Why did you call?

Your kids are as funny as you are!

The texts from my daughter are usually boring asking for lifts or providing her mammoth shopping list for the week!

hahaha I guess since I am a kid it may seem odd to be reading a blog such as this, but I find it amusing.
Some texts I have sent my mom:
Mom…did you check your voicemail today? Grandma won’t stop calling me. Call her back please.
Mom…please don’t cancel my gym membership I promise I’ll got at least once this month!
Mom…I can’t find my v neck black you have it?

    Some of her responses:
Tia… sometimes when I’m nervous I stick my head between my legs and giggle to myself.
Tia… it looked cuter on me.
Tia… I thought I would go for a run, but fell down my stairs walking outside. Running isn’t safe.

I guess it can go both ways? haha. Love your blog!
