In which we surprised her

warning to all readers (or some of the readers … or readers who are picky at least): this post is sure to be full of errors, both spelling and grammatical.

Firstly because I’m typing on my iPad using PAGES and for some reason there is no autocorrect. Or if there is autocorrect I don’t know how to turn it on. Or even if it exists … but NO matter.

Secondly, because I’m really, really tired from a) the weekend and b) being in Los Angeles and C) having Keely’s birthday party and d) did you notice that C was capitalized??? I don’t know why and e) I’ve been nice for days and I really need to be NOT NICE!

Anyways, I thought I’d inform you as to how things have gone.

Good…ok great I’m done! Good as in things went good, or actually great! Here, let me start at the beginning.

So On Thursday Kevin and I flew to LA and we landed around 1:00 PM. Andie also flew in but she got in about 3 hours earlier. Keely knew that Kevin and I were coming but NOT that Andie was coming. She was at work and she got out around 6:30 and headed over to pick us up at our hotel.

During the previous few weeks Keely had been asking REPEATEDLY if we wanted to go out to dinner with some of the writers. While we normally would have we didn’t want to because we had brought Andie in as a surprise. Nonetheless, even on Thursday afternoon she kept asking and we kept saying that we just wanted to be alone with her.

She finally pulls up and I walk out and she gets out of the car and hugs me. Meanwhile Kevin walks out and she sees him and hugs him. ANdie had snuck out a different door and walks up behind them while Keely is hugging Kevin. She taps Keely on the shoulder and Keely turns around and just yells “WHAT??” and then goes nuts

She had absolutely no clue that ANdie was coming and was sooooo very happy to see her. We said “Happy Birthday Keely, we brought you ANdie as your present!”

Then we went to a very slow and casual dinner and ANdie and i imbibed many, many drinks and Andie was hyper and crazy and happy and the four of us had much fun.

Honestly things could NOT have gone better if I had planned it! oh yeah, I did?

Poor Daniel was missing out on all this but he had actually gone to see Keely the weekend before for fall break.

So basically, Thursday was flying in and chilling and reading and sunning and then surprising Keely and it was a big hit!

What Keely did NOT know was this was just the first of MANY surprises which i will compose in a while although it will most likely be a different post because … I don’t have to justify myself to you!!
