Opinion piece

I don’t usually use this space for political or world opinions but I did read this article that I think should be required reading. I say this because the Israeli/Gaza conflict is completely unneccasary.

I admit that I’m Jewish but I’m not 100% pro Israel for everything it does but I am 100% anti Hamas.

Heres the link to the article entitled “Moral Clarity in Gaza.”  It’s written by Charles Krauthammer of the Washington Post and it explains how Hamas operates and why they started this entire war.

I implore you to read this because there is SO much misinformation out there and I don’t think that people really understand the facts.  They see civilians getting killed and blame Israel.  There’s no doubt that it takes two sides to have a war but eventually, if one side eggs on the other, something is going to happen.

Thanks for the link. There is so much misinformation about EVERYTHING out there, it’s hard to know where to look, who to believe. I tend to trust Maddow, because she will call out anyone from any party and has a list of references for anything she reports. But to be honest, I have been avoiding news. My anxiety level in on super high thrumming lately, because life….

I will read this though, and send positive energy and here’s hoping that we are not the ones who finish off our planet…

If you’re really interested in the history as to why they are battling, I read a book a long time ago called From Beirut to Jerusalem that explained the entire history of it…well to a point. It was fascinating reading and helped me better understand the chaos.
