Things i just don’t get

Today when I was driving to the gym, I was thinking of all the things that happen that I just don’t get and of course, I thought “BLOG POST” so here ya go!

Things I don’t get

People who can’t drive in the rain… WTF?

People who don’t know the bus rules

Women who come to the gym in full makeup

Why they can’t remember if I ask for 1 lb or 1/2 lb if turkey at the deli? WHY????

Why nobody can ever put the cereal box away? They manage to take it out!

Why do ┬ápeople just sit in their cars while you’re waiting for their parking space?

Why do people always want milk and bread in the south for bad weather?

Why do my animals always trap me on my bed and when I move over so do they… I’m always squished

Why is there either nothing on TV or everything on TV at the same time ? What’s up with that?

Why do my kids always call when they want something but never when I want to talk?

Why my dog never shits in the flower bed but always shits in the grass it in the driveway?

Why I’m constantly unsubscribing from email lists and yet I have more and more. When did I ever sign up?

Why do people always talk to me at the gym when I’m obviously busy and wearing headphones? This happened TODAY and I HATE IT???

answers please …

People in southern California can’t drive in the rain, or drizzle, or snow, or fog. The barrel down the freeway at 70 mph no matter what. They are too crazy/stupid to slow down to accomodate the weather!

Why am I the only person in this house capable of loading the dishwasher? Every day of my damn life, dirty glasses are left on the counter. Why, God, WHY?!?!?!?!

I live in Knoxville, so I can at least try to answer this one for you: Why do people always want milk and bread in the south for bad weather?

It’s because we have no #$@!ing idea how to drive in snow here — we never get that much, and when we do EVERYONE freaks out. They actually close businesses and schools before a single flake has even fallen if the forecast calls for a good chance of a couple of inches. Therefore we have an irrational fear of being stuck in our homes and dying because we’re too scared to go out in the snow. I have a toddler, so at least I have a legit excuse for needing milk before a snow. :)

Lynn — I kid you not, but on the *rare* occasions they predict snow, it always coincides with when we’re about to run out of or are already out of bread, milk, etc. You know, the staples. So then we end up in the supermarket looking as panicked as everyone else. LOL

hahaha…I know. I hate when I’m actually buying those things and it’s not because I’m panicking.

As to the Milk and Bread question, I would point out that you forgot the Eggs which always go along in the cart when a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is posted. Therefor the answer is ……………..wait for it…………here it comes……..after years of contemplation on this weighty mystery………

I always wonder why people don’t include eggs

What makes my husband think that I should clean up after him when he refuses to clean up after me or our daughter because it’s “Not his stuff”?When its my turn to clean the living room, kitchen or bedroom I must clean it all. When its his turn he cleans around my or our daughters stuff. Grrrrr!!

And Why does traffic ALWAYS stop on the freeway when you are running late and there are NO ACCIDENTS ahead?
